Tunnel connecting Imotski and coast inaugurated

A tunnel connecting the Imotski area and the Makarska Riviera, southern Croatian Adriatic, was inaugurated officially on Monday, the Croatian motorway operator HAC reported.

The 4,250-metre-long tunnel, drilled through Mount Biokovo, has different toll rates for different vehicles. The tunnel toll far personal cars is HRK 20.

More information on prices for driving through the tunnel, named Sv. Ilija (St. Elias), is available on the HAC web site.
