Electro-technical officer
All seafarers regardless of their nationality who are applying for Certificate of Competency - Electro-technical officer (STCW III/6) can graduate in foreign electro school or Electro College.

- Competed education program in foreign electro high school with duration of 4 yeaR,or Competed education program in foreign electro high school with duration of 3 years with seagoing service of at least 36 months in capacity ships electrician or ETO in engine department on a ship with propulsion power of minimum 750 kW or Competed education program in foreign electro college;

Competed additional education program in the authorized Croatian maritime training center for ETO;

Possession of valid Certificate of Proficiency - Basic safety training (STCW VI/1) issued by the Republic of Croatia or recognized country;

Possession of valid Certificate of Proficiency for Advanced fire fighting (STCW VI/3) issued by the Republic of Croatia or recognized country;

Possession of valid Certificate of Proficiency - Survival craft and rescue boats other than fast rescue boats (STCW VI/2-1) issued by the Republic of Croatia or recognized country;

Possession of valid Certificate of Proficiency - Medical firs aid (STCW VI/4-1) issued by the Republic of Croatia or recognized country;

Documentary evidence on completed training program in Application of leadership and teamworking skills issued by the Republic of Croatia or recognized country;

Documentary evidence on completed training program in Marine environmental awareness, or Seagoing service of at least 6 months in engine department on a ship with propulsion power of minimum 750 kW (applicable for seagoing service until 31.12.2016);

Possession of valid certificate of medical fitness of a crew member issued by an authorized doctor of the Republic of Croatia or a country that has concluded an agreement on mutual recognition of certificates with the Republic of Croatia;

Seaman’s book containing proof of seagoing service of at least 12 months in capacity as ETO cadet or electrician or ETO after obtaining certificate STCW III/6 or STCW III/7, or Seaman’s book containing proof of seagoing service of at least 6 months in capacity as ETO cadet / electrician with approved training record book;

Pass the exam for ETO in Croatian Harbour Master Office.
