The Tyrolian Regional Government informed us that due to construction works on the A13 Brenner motorway, the Lueg Bridge will be closed for heavy traffic for busses and trucks over 7,5 tones in the following period:
- from Saturday, October 10th, 4 pm, to Sunday, October 11th, 8 am (alternative date: October 24th to October 25th)
- and from Saturday, October 17th, 4pm, to Sunday, October 18th, 8am (alternative date: October 31st to November 1st)
Since there is a driving ban for trucks over 7.5 t on the B 182 Brennerbundesstraße (diversion route), they will be parked in parking lots on the A13 for the duration of the block. In addition, the Tyrolean regional government activated the ROLA Brenner / Wörgl for this period.

Restrictions will not apply to participants of the Aglona Feast and public transport.
Truck transit traffic will be closed on the following road sections:

The Spanish authorities have adopted a new Order that establishes the following: The temporary restoration of controls at internal borders will apply from 00:00 hours on March 17, 2020, until 24:00 hours on March 26, 2020 and will affect internal land borders. Only the following people will be allowed to enter national territory, by land: a) Spanish citizens. b) Residents in Spain. c) Cross-border workers. d) Those that documentary reasons of force majeure or situation of need. Foreign personnel accredited as a member of diplomatic missions, consular offices and international organizations located in Spain are exempt from these restrictions, provided they are displacements linked to the performance of official functions. This order does not affect the freight transport to ensure the continuity of economic activity and supply chains.

With reference to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia Order No.103 of 12 March 2020 (as amended on 13 March 2020 and 14 March 2020), please find attached the Declaration of Emergency situation in Latvia, resulting the statement of 11 March 2020 of the World Health Organization that COVID-19 has been confirmed as pandemic.
Emergency situation is declared throughout the national territory from the moment of the adoption of decision until 14 April 2020, with a view to restrict the spread of COVID-19 during the validity of emergency situation.
Nevertheless the restrictions does not apply to the freight transport, some disturbances may occur during the free movement of goods through the territory of Latvia.

The protest actions at the territory of the Slovak Republic having impact on free movement of traffic and transportation of goods were renewed from Tuesday 28 January 2020.
According the information available, there are blockages influencing all border crossings between Slovakia and neighbour countries (Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic) as well as traffic in Northern Slovakia (the towns of Ružomberok and Žilina).

The Spanish authorities informed us that the traffic at the border between France and Spain, at La Junquera, is blocked on both sides, due to protests.
In accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No 2679/98 of 7 December 1998 on the functioning of the internal market in relation to the free movement of goods among the Member States and in order to ensure the free movement of goods into the Spanish territory, the Catalan Regional Police, with the help of the Civil Guard and with the cooperation of the French police have put in place measures in order to restore normal traffic on the AP-7 highway to La Junquera.
Furthermore, both Spanish and French authorities took action as regards the persons blocking the access, in order to establish order.
The Spanish Directorate-General for Transport is monitoring closely the situation of roads that are closed in Catalonia, in close cooperation and contact with the French authorities and the “Servei Catalá de Transit”.

Due to technical status and necessary support works there is an exclusion of movement of heavy vehicles with the mass of more than 15.0 ton through the bridge over the River Váh in cadastral area Komárno in the Slovak Republic (Vážsky most, ev. no. 63-025).
The bridge situated on road I/63 is part of the interconnection of the north of Slovakia with the border crossing to Hungary. The exclusion is applied till revocation and would last probably several months.
There is a diversion of traffic in length of 87 kilometres marked with interim road signs by road I/63, II/509, II/588, III/1464, III/1466, I/64, II/563, and II/573, respectively.
Alternatively, there is also the possibility to cross the Slovak/Hungarian border via Medveďov – Vámosszabadi border crossing.

Due to urgent technical checks on some viaducts of A24 between Assergi and Colledara/San Gabriele in the carriageway towards Teramo from 12 to 15 February p.v. limitation of free movement of vehicles over 3.5 t is going to be adopted.
Therefore, during the above mentioned days, heavy vehicles with a full load mass of more than 3.5 t and coaches coming from Roma/L'Aquila and going to Teramo, must take the exit at Assergi junction.
The recommended itineraries are as follows:
- Take exit “L'Aquila Est” from A24, then take SS17 (Piani dei Navelli), continuing on A25 through “Bussi/Popoli” junction alternatively
- Take exit “L'Aquila Ovest” from A24, using SS80 for “Valico delle Capannelle”;
- For long-distances use A25 “Torano-Pescara” motorway, and continue on A14 towards Giulianova/Teramo.
For long distances all drivers are recommended to reach the Adriatic side taking A25.

Due to the epidemic of the COVID 19 virus, the Republic of Slovenia has adopted the following additional traffic measures, which are valid until cancellation:
From 25. March 2020 smaller border crossings with Republic of Austria are closed. Thirteen border crossings with the Republic of Austria remain open. These are: Gornja Radgona – Bad Radkersburg, Kuzma – Bonisdorf, Holmec – Grablach, Karavanke – Karawankentunnel, Jurij – Langegg, Vič – Lavamund, Ljubelj – Loibltunnel, Trate – Mureck, Radlje – Radlpass, Gederovci – Sicheldorf, Šentilj (avtocesta) – Spielfeld (Autobahn) and Šentilj (magistrala) – Spielfeld (Bundesstrasse).
From 25. March 2020 smaller border crossings with Republic of Austria are closed. Thirteen border crossings with the Republic of Austria remain open. The activities of Viabilità Italy, following the collapse of the Viadotto Morandi on the Polcevera river, on the A10 Genova - Ventimiglia motorway, in agreement with the Operative Committee of the Civil Protection Department, and with the Genoese authorities continue.
TRANSPORT UPDATE
The closure of the A10 motorway in the Genova - Savona section between the junction for the A7 Milano - Genova and Genova Aeroporto continues in both directions with strong repercussions on the traffic of the A10 towards Genova between Genova Pegli and Genova Aeroporto; on the A12 Genova - Rosignano Marittima between Genova Est and the junction for the A7 towards Genova; and on the A7 between Bolzaneto and the A10.
For local traffic, it is not advisable to go along the motorways but to take advantage of ordinary and urban roads according to the indications of the Genova authorities.
The update of traffic flows on the A6, from Torino, A26 from Alessandria, on the A7 from Milano, from the A12 La Spezia - Massa, are regular and there are no critical issues.
The traffic ban for heavy vehicles remains until 10 pm.
