The T- Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) netted a profit of HRK 2.47 billion in 2007, 11.6 percent up from 2006.

The T-HT managing and steering boards have proposed that almost the whole sum, which is 2.42 billion, should be used for the payment in dividends to share-holders. Thus, HRK 29.56 will be paid per share.

According to a statement on the business performance in 2007 which was published on the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Thursday, this increase in the net profit is based largely on one-off gains in connection with the investments in the HT Mostar company.

T-HT consolidated revenues were up 2.3 percent to HRK 8.83 billion with a rise in services provided in the sectors of mobile telephony, Internet and wholesale services compensating for the anticipated lower earnings from fixed telephony services.

The earnings from mobile telephony rose 6.9 percent to HRK 3.96 billion last year, while the earnings from fixed telephony fell 9.5 percent to HRK 3.2 billion.
