More Than 36,000 People Return to Their Pre-war Homes in Vukovar-Srijem County

According to the Vukovar Regional Office for Refugees and Displaced Persons, 36.410 people (70.4%) expelled during the Serb aggression in 1991 returned to the Vukovar-Srijem County.

The largest number of returnees (94.6%) was registered in the Nuštar municipality. According to the Vukovar Regional Office for Refugees and Displaced Persons, the smallest number of returns was registered in the predominantly Serb-populated municipality of Borovo, namely only 27.5 %.
