Minister Kalmeta Visits Qatar

The Minister of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development Božidar Kalmeta will attend the signing of a USD 200 million worth contract in Qatar, which was assigned via an international tender to the Croatian construction company 'Konstruktor d.d'.

Using that opportunity the minister will also discuss new business opportunities for the Croatian construction industry by meeting with the members of the Qatar government.

This project will proof that Croatian companies have the knowledge as well as to logistic possibilities to perform even the most complicated construction tasks, and the Croatian government will support the construction companies participating in international tenders on the European market.

Last week, minister Kalmeta and PM Ivo Sanader took part in a Government’s session where they were introduced to the business activities and future plans of ‘Konstruktor d.d’.
