Croatia Airlines, U.S. Airways sign code share deal
Croatia Airlines and U.S. Airways have sealed a new bilateral code share agreement after receiving approval from the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency and the U.S. Department of Transportation, the Croatian flag carrier said in a statement earlier this week.
U.S. Airways' customers will enjoy expanded service to destinations in Croatia and the convenience of a single-ticket purchase. Customers traveling with Croatia Airlines will also receive expanded access to the United States. Flights are available for sale with immediate effect, the press release said.
Under the agreement, Croatia Airlines passengers will now have better access to destinations in the United States. Passengers traveling with Croatia Airlines from Zagreb via Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, London Munich and Zurich, now have access to Charlotte and Philadelphia, U.S. Airways' hubs on the east coast of the United States. Croatia Airlines will also have its code on U.S. Airways flights within the U.S. and from Philadelphia to Cleveland, Dallas / Fort-Worth and St. Louis.
