Croatia Airlines expands summer flight schedule

During the 2012 tourist season, Croatia Airlines (CA) will be operating new flights and increase the number of existing flights, the national airline said this past week.

A new service will be introduced to connect the coastal city of Zadar and Frankfurt and it will operate on Mondays and Fridays from April 27 to October 12. CA will introduce a number of other seasonal flights connecting directly the German cities of Berlin, Duesseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich with destinations along the Adriatic coast and with Zagreb.

As of June 12, a direct Rijeka-Barcelona flight service will be operating on Tuesdays until the end of October.

Direct flights between Rijeka and London will again be introduced, to operate on Wednesdays for the duration of the summer season.

At the beginning of June, direct flights will be introduced between Split and Belgrade, to operate on Mondays and Fridays.

A new flight service connecting Zadar and Paris will be introduced on May 1. It will operate on Tuesdays until the end of October. The seasonal flight services Zadar – Munich and Zadar – Zurich will be introduced again this summer.

Direct flights between Zagreb and Barcelona operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from March 29 until the end of October. Just as last year, CA will be operating Zagreb-Athens-Dubrovnik flights.

In mid-June, CA will again introduce flights connecting Dubrovnik with Istanbul and Venice.

In domestic transport, CA plans to introduce the seasonal flight services Zagreb – Bol (Brac island) and Osijek-Split.
