Cargo ship stranded on Rijeka mole

This morning at 5.30 h the 73 meters long cargo ship 'Capadocia', sailing under the flag of the Netherlands Antilles stranded on the Rijeka mole.

The visibility was poor and for now the circumstances of this shipwreck are still unknown.

The ship was carrying 6 crew members, all off which are Ukraine citizens and remained unharmed during the accident. The ship shows damages, but there are no traces of sea pollution. During the day divers will check on possible defects.

The ship was on its way from Šibenik and it was not carrying any cargo.
