ACI: After Losses in 2004, in 2005 Profit of HRK 3 Million
The Opatija company Adriatic Croatia International Club (ACI), a chain of marinas, closed last year with a profit of HRK 3.14 million, after registering in the year 2004 a loss of HRK 1.51 million. Those are the data of ACI's financial report published at the Varaždin stock market.
The financial report informs the reader that during last year ACI achieved, via business activities, a positive financial result in the value of HRK 2.9 million and via alternative activities the amount of HRK 700 thousand, while financial activities created a loss of HRK 400 thousand.
Also mentioned is the fact that the company, by introducing a program of financial restructuring, was able to free itself from expensive credit lines which all in all directly influenced its current solvency.
ACI's last year business incomes were increased by 5.45%, reaching the total amount of HRK 114.35 million. That was achieved thanks to sales results in foreign countries which were increased by 6.4% (total of HRK 78.8 million).
Along with all other sources of income, ACI’s total income for the year 2005 mounts up to HRK 126.77 million and this is a 10.5% increase as compared to the year 2004.
The company's total expenses went up by 6.4%, reaching the figure of HRK 123.63 million.
ACI's basic activities include providing services of nautical tourism by offering permanent berths (for various time periods). The company counts 21 marinas along the Adriatic coast.
