Regulator sets up control station to monitor radio - frequencies in Dalmatia

The Croatian regulator for network industries (HAKOM) stated on Thursday that a mobile control station had been put in trial operation in south Dalmatia to monitor radio - frequencies and to improve the checking of radio frequency interruptions coming from Italy.

This is the second mobile station of this kind put in operation by the Croatian regulator.

The first control and measurement station of this kind was set up in the coastal area of Istria in 2013.

The stations are improving the coverage and efficiency of the entire radio-frequency domain available to Croatia.

They will help to detect Italian transmitters that interfere with Croatian television signals.
