The Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency (HAKOM) has established that not any of the three mobile operators has enabled the full and immediate identification of users of their services by the operational agency in charge of electronic communication supervision and therefore HAKOM has set up deadlines for this purpose, HAKOM said in a statement on Friday.
During inspections it carried out in T-Mobile, Vipnet and Tele2 Croatia in early November, the agency established irregularities and ordered their removal.
By 1 March 2011 the operators must see to it that the immediate identification of all new customers is possible. The deadline for facilitating the identification of the existent users whose identification is not available now, is 1 September 2011.
