The Road Transport Department of the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure conducted an enhanced inspection on monitoring of the transport of the passengers in the international road transport, on Sunday, March 14 2010.
The inspection was conducted by a pit-stop at the Motel "Plitvice" and border crossing at Bregana.
During the inspection monitoring it was discovered five offenders who illegally performed the carriage. However, the foreign carriers in the transit through Croatia can not give a service of receiveing or unloading passengers, and if they have permission to do so, then it can only be done at the bus stations, and not at the resting spaces by the roads.
Therefore, they issued four fines in the amount of 20,000 HRK, and one misdemeanor warrant.
