Sabor: amendments to the Public Roads Act

The Croatian parliament (Sabor) today also endorsed amendments to the Public Roads Act, even though the SDP was critical of it, saying that the law was changed too often.

"The amendments ensure the protection of public roads as assets of national interest," said Zeljko Tufekcic, a state secretary at the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. He added that the bill would make sure that no one else but the state owned the public roads.
