The T-HT telecommunications company, the leading provider of telecommunications services in Croatia, will dismiss 190 employees, Zagreb Stock Exchange reported on June 30.
Most of workers will be dismissed this year as part of T-HT"s programme of cost reductions.
The dismissals will cost the company HRK 86.4 million (approx. EUR 12 million).
The workers to be laid off are working in the firm’s finance, net, human resources and regional sales divisions throughout Croatia.
The introduction of new technology, business-process rationalisation and increased business efficiency has made the employees redundant.
