The Croatian Motorway Ltd. (Hrvatske autoceste d.o.o. – HAC) registered during this year's main tourist season (July & August), an income increase of HRK 357, 38 million (VAT excl.) from the collection of toll rates. This represents an 11,3% plus as compared to the same period last year, reported HAC.
HAC, the company which is managing most of the Croatian motorways, collected in July HRK 175,1 million from toll rates and in August HRK 182,28 million.
During the first eight months in 2007, HAC registered a HRK 874,72 million income from toll rates, which is a 13,4% plus as compared to the same period in 2006. At the same time the number of vehicles HAC motorways increased by 10,7%, i.e. a total of 23,7 million vehicles.
