Zagreb Airport registered today this year's 1 millionth passenger. According to estimations, by the end of 2007, the total airport traffic might reach the number of 2 million passengers.
Never before was the number of 1 million passengers reached this early in the year. Last year the key date was August 7th, the year before August 24th, while in the year 2004 the1 millionth passenger arrived around mid September.
The airport also registered a 16 % percent increase in passenger traffic compared to the same time in 2006.
All those growing numbers are the result of a successful cooperation with business partners, including the Croatian air carrier Croatia Airlines.
