On Tuesday, the Croatian Railways (HŽ) signed a EUR 10 million loan agreement with the Swiss company Eurofime, which is to be used next year for the upgrading of 11 passenger wagons, the Croatian company said in a statement.
Eurofima grants loans to European railway companies for the purchase of equipment and it has been assisting the HŽ in modernizing engines and wagons for a number of years.
