Finally More Bilateral-Transport Permits for the Ukraine

After a two-day negotiation process the Republic of Croatia succeeded to secure for Croatian road transporters up to 250 bilateral-transit permits for the Ukraine, which is a 50 percent increase as compared to the existing contingent valid for international cargo transport.

On that occasion was also determined the temporary contingent of permits for the year 2007., which amounts up to 600 bilateral-transit permits and 100 permits for third countries including the possibility of addition in case it should be necessary.

The protocol of this meeting, attended by the Mixed Commission for Road Transport in the Republic of Croatia and the Ukraine, was signed today in Zagreb. In the name of the Republic of Croatia, the agreement was signed by Igor MalĂ˝, Assistant Minister for Road Traffic.
