Croatia Airlines registered its 15 millionth passenger

The Croatian air company Croatia Airlines registered today its 15 millionth passenger.

According to CA, the company's first commercial flight took place on May 5th, 1991 on the route Zagreb-Split which was also marked the beginning of the company’s regular domestic traffic.

One year later, on April 5th, 1992 this Croatian air carrier started to operate regularly on an international level with its first international flight on the route Zagreb – Frankfurt.

Throughout the years, the routes Zagreb-Split and Zagreb-Frankfurt proofed to be the company's most successful routes with the highest number of passengers, stated CA. The first route registered until today 2.8 million passengers and the second one 1.36 million.

From May 1991 until today, CA registered on its domestic routes the total number of over 5.25 million passengers, and from April 1992 until today, on its international routes, over 7.96 million passengers.

The company’s charter flights managed to register until today 1.77 million passengers.
