At today's session the Croatian government adopted the decision of founding four new companies within the Croatian railroads (Hrvatske željeznice – HŽ), HŽ Infrastructure, HŽ Passenger transport, HŽ Cargo and HŽ Traction. Also founded was the roof organization HŽ Holding for business services.
Further decisions also included the definition of the stock capital of the above mentioned companies, their business subject as well as other important business details.
The Minister of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development Božidar Kalmeta confirmed that all workers would transfer their employment contracts over to the newly- established companies.
