There were 802 foreign cruise ships visiting Croatian territorial waters in 2012, down 3.4 per cent on the year, but they brought 1.2% more passengers (1.15 million), the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said earlier this week.
Last year, foreign cruise ships stayed 1,486 days in Croatia, 173 less than in 2011.
The most ships, 172, came under the Bahamian flag, followed by 155 from Malta, 123 from Italy, 89 from Panama and 69 from Bermuda.
Cruise ships from 15 countries visited the Croatian Adriatic last year, the most in September (125), June (124) and October (118).
