In the first half of this year, Croatian yachting ports reported a five percent increase in arrivals and a six percent increase in overnight stays in relation to the same period of 2007, the State Bureau of Statistics said on Tuesday.
A total of 246,000 tourists visited Croatian yachting ports in the first half of this year, making 424,800 overnight stays.
There were 228,000 foreign boaters, who made 402,000 overnight stays, which are increases of five and six percent respectively.
The number of domestic arrivals dropped by one percent to 18,000, while the number of their overnight stays remained the same as last year - 22,700.
