All seafarers regardless of their nationality who are applying for Certificate of Proficiency - Electro-technical rating (STCW III/7) can graduate in foreign electro school or Electro College.
Additionally, they need to provide evidence of:
- Competed education program in foreign electro high school or Electro College;
- Possession of valid Certificate of Proficiency - Basic Safety Training (STCW VI/1) issued by the Republic of Croatia or recognized country;
- Documentary evidence in marine environmental awareness issued by Croatian training center or training center in recognized country, or Seagoing service of at least 6 months in engine department on a ship with propulsion power of minimum 750 kW (applicable for seagoing service until 31.12.2016);
- Seaman’s book containing proof of seagoing service of at least 3 months in engine department (additionally provide evidence of seaman’s employment agreement);
- Possession of a valid certificate of medical fitness of a crew member issued by an authorized doctor of the Republic of Croatia or a country that has concluded an agreement on mutual recognition of certificates with the Republic of Croatia.
Pass the exam in Croatian Harbour Master Office.
