The Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency (HAKOM) has adopted a new ordinance on the payment of operating fees, reducing the fee for the use of the radio-frequency spectrum in the mobile communications network by 20%, the agency announced on Wednesday.
This is in line with reductions that commenced in 2008, the agency noted.
HAKOM said that the assignment of digital dividends, the efficient management of the radio-frequency spectrum and overall business results made it possible to significantly reduce fees paid by mobile operators.
HAKOM recalls that the most important fees that financed the agency have been reduced over the past four years by more than 40% relating to the management of the radio-frequency spectrum and 22% for fees relating to other business conducted by the agency.
