The 3rd EastEuro Link Transport Conference will be organized in Zagreb during 7&8 December, 2006. The key topics will include an overview of current transport projects, of present preparations for future transport projects, possible obstacles and potentials for the future, entrance of private rail operators in the region, interoperability and investments in reliable signal systems and ports.
The Conference will be opened by the speakers Branimir Jerneic, Assistant Minister at the Ministry of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development (Croatia), Mile Janakieski Minister of Transport and Communications (Macedonia) and Helmut Adelsberger, head of the International Transport Networks Department at the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (Austria).
The issue of stimulating competition in the railway sector will be presented by Marijan Klaric, Deputy Vice-president of the Board of Croatian Railways.
The organizer of the event which will take place in “The Regent Esplanade” hotel is the British company EastEuro Link.
