Zagreb airport logs its millionth passenger

The Zagreb airport on Thursday logged its millionth passenger this year, and it was eight days later than in 2008 when the airport had its millionth passenger on 1 July, the earliest record in a year.

The turnover of passengers in the first half of 2009 was four percent lower than in 2008 H1.

This year's millionth passenger, a man flying from Rijeka via Zagreb to Barcelona received an airport Duty Free Shop coupon check amounting to EUR 500.
