U.S. sail-yacht struck the boat nearby town of Vrsar

Yesterday approximately at 17.00 hours maritime accident occurred near the entrance to the Lim channel, in which nobody was injured and there were no contamination of the sea.

Accident occurred when the sail-yacht "Madi", length 13.01 meters, which is a vessel under the flag of the United States, struck and passed through the moored boat, custom tags "PO 884" (length 4.50 meters).

Sail-yacht "Madi" was navigated by a citizen of Italy, and on the board of the vessel was one more person, the citizen of the Great Britain.

On the moored and strucked boat was a S.B. from Vrsar, who avoided an accident by jumping into the sea, while the boat remained to float.

After an accident the crew of the sail-yacht have accepted S.B. out from the sea, while he's boat was in state of half-submerged.

Into the Marina "Vrsar" they all sailed-in at 18.30 hours approximately, drafting the half-submerged boat, after they sail into the Marina the port authority employees conducted informational interview with participants in the accident at the bulding of the Port autority of Porec.

An investigation into the causes of the accident is in the process.
