Tolls abolished for driving through Sv. Ilija Tunnel as of 1 January

The state-run motorway operator HAC reported on Friday that the tolls for passage through the 4,250-metre-long tunnel connecting the Imotski area and the Makarska Riviera would be abolished as of 1 January 2018.

The tunnel was inaugurated in early July 2013 and since then the toll for personal vehicles, that is motor vehicles with two axles, up to 1.90 m in height, has been 20 kuna, while tolls for larger vehicles and trucks and hauliers ranged between 30 and 66 kuna.
