One of the major effects of the fair is to promote ecologically interesting tourist destinations and services.

The scope of the international market of ecological products every year to raise $ 5 billion USD and exceeded the limit of $ 40 billion USD. The world is currently more than 30 million hectares of arable land for ecological farming, and Europe as a region in second place. Conscious consumers are increasingly looking for healthy foods and products with a guaranteed level of quality.

Since the HOP-project its references to fit the requirements of BioFach, we expect its performance to be successful, the more it is a special emphasis placed on ecological production of wine and olive oil.
