Sunken boat near Rabac

On Sunday evening, August 28, 2005  'Mare – tehnik' from Rabac and the professional fire department from Labin managed to set afloat a boat registered under 432 RK 'Neptun' in the bay of Prtlog near Rabac, The owner of the boat is Gambeta from Rijeka.

With help of the ‘Glass boat’ (used for the sight – seeing of the bottom of the sea) registered under 184 RC, the stranded boat was towed towards the port Rabac. Close to the port Rabac the towed boat 435 RK suddenly sank down to the depth of 18 meters.

No pollution was noticed and the sunken boat does not represent any danger for the safety of secure navigation.

The owner started all necessary operations for the pulling out of the boat in question.
