Seasonal train service to be introduced between Belgrade and Split

The seasonal train Jadran Express will be operating between the Serbian capital Belgrade and the southern Croatian coastal city of Split from June 10 to August 27, it was announced at an international tourist fair in Belgrade on Friday.

The train will depart from Belgrade on Fridays and from Split on Saturdays, and will travel via Ruma, Zagreb and Knin. A one-way ticket will cost 37.5 euros.

Croatian Rail CEO Zlatko Rogozar said that the purpose of introducing the train service was to encourage Serbian tourists to visit the Croatian Adriatic coast.
