Search for missing Albanian fisherman on sea

Mountain rescue services from Dubrovnik and Orebic are searching for a missing Albanian fisherman on rugged terrain and cliffs of the southern Croatian island of Mljet, the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service reported on Friday.

The missing man is one of a three-member fishing crew of an Albanian boat which was found capsized in the sea near Mljet on thursday. One of the Albanians was found alive on the coast of =he island and the other was found dead near the boat on Thursday afternoon.

Helicopters and divers with thermal cameras have been engaged in the ongoing search operation. The boat went missing near the Croatian cape of Ostro on 21 January.

So far, a strong south gale and rain have hindered the search.
