Port of Ploce achived profit of 4.1 million HRK

Port of "Ploce" on the level of the Group achieved a profit of 4.1 million HRK gross within last year, a decrease in profit compared to a previous year is up to 85.6%, due to the dataa from the company's financial statements published on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

The clarification of business results indicating that the crisis in the global economy is still reflected in the business activities.

Total Group revenues last year were achieved in the amount of up to 159.15 million HRK, and marked declination of 24.4%. Revenue decline is the result of a decrease of the traffic through the Port of "Ploce", as explained.

Revenues from sales last year amounted up to 147.3 million HRK, and decreased by 27.6%. At the same time, the Group's financial income increased from a 3 million HRK up to 3.37 million HRK.

The Group achieved the bulk of revenues trough business activities and programs as transshipment and storage of the cargo.

At the annual turnover of goods amounted up to 2.86 million tonnes, which is 44.2% less than a year earlier.

The Group last year made 154.96 million HRK of total expenditures, as compared to the prior year, it is decrease of a 14.8%.

The clarification of business results indicating that the Group has no liquidity problems, and also, the company properly settle all it's outstanding liabilities.
