Minister Oleg Butković signed the 'Danube Declaration' along with counterparts from countries in the Danube basin

Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, Oleg Butkovic and his counterparts from countries in the Danube basin, signed the 'Danube Declaration' in Brussels on Monday, a Document on the maintenance of navigable routes along the Danube and its tributaries.

Minister Butkovic expressed satisfaction with the Document that will be conducive to the further development of the Danube Strategy: "The Declaration creates opportunities for navigation projects and for the improvement of conditions for inland waterways along the Danube and its tributaries.'. - minister Butkovic said.

European Transport Minister, Violeta Bulc also welcomed the signing of the 'Danube Declaration' as a crucial step towards the use of the full potential of the Danube's navigability.
