Minister Kalmeta Opening the 'Zagreb Auto Show'

Zagreb auto show - link na ZVThe Zagreb fair is preparing to host one of the most important automobile shows in the region, 'Zagreb Auto Show' (24 March- 2 April). The show will pool over 600 exhibitioners from 30 countries.

It will take place in an area of 70 000 m2 and it is expected that it will attract 200 000 visitors from Croatia and from abroad.

During those eleven days, the visitors will see 42 different automobile brands as well as 30 brands and 200 types of motorcycles and scooters. 

The program is divided into three sections – Automobile show, Motor show and equipment, parts and services. Starting with the year 2000, the ‘Zagreb auto show’ is being organized every two years, while the ‘Zagreb transport show’ takes place during the years in between.

Besides numerious premiers and vice-premiers, this year's Show offers new attractions for the visitors, f.ex. test drives, off-road driving, carting and other. There will be also organized the ‘Car of the Year’ election and the fashion review ‘Cro-a-porter’.

The Show is also a good occasion for various meetings discussion topics like 'Science and the development of traffic', 'Handicapped participating in traffic' etc.

The official opening of the Show will occur on 23 March at 18 p.m. It will be attended by the Minister of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development Božidar Kalmeta. Before the grant opening will be organized a business-media day, reserved exclusively for journalists and VIP guests.
