At today's meeting at the Ministry of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development the representatives of the Croatian Trade Union Association – Fishermen Union protested against unacceptable demands of the Croatian Vessel Registry for Croatian fishing boats and against insufficient solutions regarding the space for the berthing and unloading of fishing boats in most of the maritime counties, stated the Croatian Trade Union Association.

The State Secretary for the Sea Branko Bačić also attended the meeting during which it was negotiated that the future demands of the Croatian Vessel Registry would match Italian standards. The second conclusion states that the Ministry will pass a special ordinance which will allow the berthing of fishing boats in all maritime counties, after the Ministry of Agriculture defines time and place for the unloading of fish.
