Luxury Cruiser Visited the Port of Ploče

The cruiser 'Arion' carrying 297 passengers, most of them American tourists, entered today the Port of Ploče, provoking great interest of the inhabitants in the Ploče and Neretva area.

It is an international cruiser providing all the benefits of a luxury hotel on water, with many different contents spread over several decks. 

Many tourists from the 'Arion' left for a one-day trip in order to visit the historical, tourist and religious monuments of Međugorje, s well as other parts of Herzegovina.

The international maritime agency Jadroagent announced that cruisers would keep visiting the Port of Ploče every Saturday until the end of September, each time carrying several hundreds of tourists.

Currently, the ‘Arion’ is on a trip around the Adriatic and the Mediterranean and tonight it will leave the Port of Ploče in order to continue the journey.
