In a period from March 8th to May 31st 2010, the sea traffic in the Adriatic Sea will be carried by the off-season timetable of the ferry line schedule, for which the Governing Board of the Agency for the Coastal Sea Traffic Lines gave approval on Thursday, according to the Agency.

The most important news in a relation to the lines of navigation that are valid from January 1st to March 7th is to reduce the number of trips to various ferry lines. This allows savings of up to 35 millions HRK, for the purpose of the overcoming the lack of funds caused by reducing line-items for the coastal marine traffic in the budget of the Republic of Croatia for the year 2010.

At the same time it was decided that in the off-season will be reduced boating to ships and fast-ship lines. Seasonal boating order, which applies from the June 1st to the September 30th 2010, it is provided to be no reduction in the boat, ferry and fast-ship lines, which means that it will be the same as that of the season 2009th.

Off-timetable complies with the change of the Decision on determining the state line in public transport in the coastal maritime line which brought the Croatian Government, at today's session.

Anticipated reduction in the number of travel is related to the following lines:
- The coastal-line Rijeka-Split-Stari Grad-Korcula-Dubrovnik will be restored on the May 23rd 2010;
- The ferry line 332 Valbiska-Merag has from now reduced number of trips of 11 to 10 days;
- On the line 401 Ist-Zadar-Silba-Olib-Premuda in March and April, the number of trips is reduced of 4 to 3 weekley, and of 5 to 4 trips weekley  in May, on the same ferry-line the ferry will prolong it's tripp form Premuda to Mali Losinj once, instead of twice a week;
- On the line 433 Zadar-Sestrunj-Zverinac-Molat in March and April the number of trips is reduced from 6 to 3 weekley, and in May the number of trips is reduced of 7 to 4 trips. The extension of navigation on Wednesdays on the ferry-line Molat-Ist is abolished;
- On the line 435 Zadar-Brsanj(Iz)-Rava in March and April is reduced the number of trips from the current 7 to 5 per week, and in May from 7 to 6 a week;
- On the line 532 Zirje-Kaprije-Zlarin-Sibenik on Mondays and Saturdays is reduced number of trips from 2 to 1;
- On the line 634 Orebic-Domince number of trips is reduced from the current 15 to 14 a day;
- On the line 635 Stari Grad-Split number of trips is reduced from 26 to 21 a week, so that is no more weekdays trip with departure from Split at 7 o'clock.
