Island of Brač: Postira Gets New Kindergarten

In the town of Postira, on the Island of Brač, a new kindergarten was opened on 26 April, It covers 1.100 m2 and costed HRK 6.1 million.

The kindergarten was declared open by the State Secretary for Sea Branko Bačić who pointed out that the larger part of the mentioned sum was secured by the Ministry of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development. The Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development invested approximately HRK 2 million, while the local government financed the communal infrastructure.

For now the kindergarten will receive 50 children coming from Postira and the surrounding places.

The festive opening was also attended by the mayor of the Split-Dalmatian County Ante Sanader ant the local official Ivan Mihačić.
