The Ministry of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development presented today an electronic system for the registration of passengers and crew members on charter vessels. The new system is called ‘e-nautika’.

This electronic system has already been presented to the public during the Croatia Boat Show in Split, along with a TV-spot explaining how the system works regarding crew member and passenger lists on the vessels.

According to the State Secretary for the Sea Branko Bačić, the vessel owners who are using ‘e-nautika’ on their ships do not have to visit the anymore the Harbormaster’s Office or its Branch Office to register the identity and number of their crew and passenger members.

“The received data is instantly accessible to the Ministry as well as to other government institutions, f.ex. the customs service and the police. In that way the One-stop-shop service is introduced for charter companies”, concluded Bačić. He also added that from now on all activities can be accomplished from the office, the marina or the yacht, i.e. anytime, anywhere for the system functions throughout 24 hours.
