Germanwings expects 10 pct passenger growth on Croatian routes in 2010

Germanwings, the low-cost carrier of Germany"s Lufthansa, said it expects passenger numbers on flights to and from Croatia to rise by at least 10% to 440,000 in 2010.

The carrier sees its seat load factor on Croatian routes at 80% this year, Germanwings" manager of international communications Andreas Engel said, adding that Croatia is the number one market in the region.

During the summer flight schedule Germanwings flies to and from Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Pula and Zadar and during the winter to and from Zagreb and Split.
