The Croatian Civil Aviation Agency has reported that a delegation of the European Aviation Safety Agency recently carried out a supervision of the Croatian aviation authorities and that preliminary results show that the inspection established significant progress in the removal of irregularities and omissions reported in the previous report by EASA.

Twelve EASA inspectors and one observer of the European Commission visited Croatia from 14 to 18 September to carry out an inspection of the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency and tour two major Croatian air companies.

The positive result of the supervision is important also because of Croatia's European Union accession negotiations on the policy chapter No. 14 "Transport Policy", the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency said in a statement on Sunday.
