Dubrovnik: circular cruise season began

"Gemini", the Spanish cruise-ship with about 940 Spanish tourists on the board, sailed into Dubrovnik's port of the Gruz today, which officially opened this year's tourist season, and also the cruise-ships visit season.

The next Friday, March 19th, MSC Magnifica with 3113 passengers will sail into Dubrovnik's port, this ship began it's journey through the ceremony of the ship's 'baptism' in the port of Hamburg, and this is it's first voyage to Dubrovnik. The ship, by the December 26th 2010, every Saturday will sail into the port of Gruz in Dubrovnik, and with this ship it should arrive also the largest total number of passengers.

According to announcements from the Port of Dubrovnik, some 30,000 more than last year guests from the ships on the circular journeys will see Dubrovnik this year, the last year there was 846,000 tourists from the cruise-ships.
