Dubrovnik Airport Logs this Year's Millionth Passenger

This year's millionth passenger landed at Dubrovnik's airport on Monday, six days before the airport logged the millionth passenger last year.

This year's turnover is expected to be 1.25 million passengers, up six per cent from 2005, airport director Tonči Peović told a news conference.

He said EUR31 million would be invested in a complete renovation of the airport by 2009.

This year's millionth passenger was Barbara Wrangler from Switzerland, who flew in from Vienna this morning. Representatives of the airport and the Dubrovnik Tourist Board presented her with gifts.
