A plane belonging to the Croatian air-carrier Dubrovnik Airlines on a charter flight from Tel Aviv to Rijeka had to make an unexpected landing this morning at 10 a.m. on the Dubrovnik Airport after noticing a sudden thump.

After the save landing it was established that one of the plane's tires had lost its external layer which then damaged the plane's engine.

The plane, type MD-83, remained in Dubrovnik for further reparation while all 136 passengers and 7 crew members continued their trip to Rijeka after boarding another plane.
