Croatian airports record 10.5% more passengers in 2018

Croatian airports recorded 10.5 million passengers in 2018, up 10.2% on the year, including 286,000 in December, up 4.5%, the national statistical office says.

The biggest turnover was recorded by Zagreb Airport, 3.3 million passengers, up 7.8% on 2017. Split Airport was next with 3.1 million passengers (+10.9%), followed by Dubrovnik Airport with 2.5 million passengers (+9.2%).

As for cargo, the 2018 turnover totalled 12.3 million tonnes, up 23.8% on the year.

Last year, Croatia's nine airports recorded 124,000 landings and take-offs, up 7.2% from 2017.
