Croatia Airlines reports its 20 millionth passenger

Croatia Airlines on Friday reported its 20 millionth passenger, who arrived in Zagreb aboard a regular flight from Amsterdam.

The passenger, Croatian national Boris Jakopovic, was welcomed at Zagreb Airport by the leading people of the national airline who presented him with two return tickets and a paid four-day hotel stay for two people in one of Croatia Airlines international destinations.

Croatia Airlines CEO Ivan Misetic said that this year the company was marking its 20th anniversary and the fifth anniversary of its membership in the international airline association Star Alliance.

In more than 18 years, Croatia Airlines has transported 11.14 million passengers aboard its international flights, 6.71 million passengers aboard domestic flights and 2.14 million passengers on special flights.

The company's fleet today consists of 12 aircraft - four Airbus 319 planes, four Airbus 320 planes, and four Dash 8-Q400 planes.
