Croatia Airlines Passed IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA)

As was published today, the national airline company Croatia Airlines (CA), passed successfully for the second time the independent IATA Operational Safety Audit – refreshing once more its IOSA certificate.

The IOSA program was set up by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), an organization providing an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the flying safety of each company who is a member of the Association. CA has been a member of IATA since 1992.

By passing the test, CA got reintroduced in the official registry of the Association, counting at the moment 80 operators with IOSA certificates.

CA received its first IOSA certificate on 5 December 2003, becoming the third airline company in the world with a confirmed high security level in accordance with IOSA standards.

CA also introduced the service of purchasing tickets via the phone, making it possible for passengers to simultaneously reserve tickets as well as pay for them via the phone including regular domestic as well as international flights. (Hina)
