Conference ‘2nd SEE TELECOM ARENA’

http://www.telecom2006.infoarena.hr/The company Infoarena is organizing in cooperation with the Ministry of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development the second telecommunications conference ('2nd SEE Telecom Arena') under the name 'New Forces on the Telecommunications Market'. The event will take place on 5th-6th April, 2006 in Zagreb.

Infoarena has been organizing for three years its annual “Wireless World – Mobile Business” conference. The changes which occurred in Croatia since the liberalization of the market and the development of the telecommunications industry have triggered the company to organize for the first time a conference designed especially for the needs of the telecommunications industry, which was called “Telecom Arena”.

Taking into consideration the huge success of last year’s conference, according to both the expert community and the general public, and with the desire to expand the conference’s reach to all neighboring countries, in 2006 it was decided to organize the “2nd SEE Telecom Arena”.

The first day of the conference is envisioned as a plenary and features the round-table "What is the true capacity of the Croatian market?" which is a traditional annual meeting of the Croatian telecommunications sector attended also by representatives of other countries from the region. The event is carried out under the patronage of the Ministry of Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development. The 2nd day is a standard conference day dealing with topics of present relevance.

In addition to the two-day Telecom Arena, and in cooperation with the organizers of Observatory Forum, the organizers were able to ensure entry passes for the second day of the Forum (7 April 2006) free of charge for all Telecom Arena participants. The main theme of the Forum would be Cost Orientation Consideration, with main speakers Mark Scanlan and Werner Neu.
